Contribute

Published by Janet Evans

We’re always looking for contributors both regular and one-off to WomenthatNetwork. So if you have something to say, send in your article or article pitch. If we select your contribution for publication, you will have the joy of knowing you’ve helped our online community.

Our contribute email address is linked at the bottom of this page, but you should read everything below before you hit ‘Sumbit’. This will help ensure our time isn’t wasted, and neither is yours.

We look for the following things in contributions:

  • Expertise - It helps to write on topics you are very familiar with personally.
  • Web Writing - Writing on the web works best when it’s not too verbose, and makes use of lists and headings to break up the text.
  • How-To, Informative, Resources – WomenthatNetwork.com is a networking and professional improvement blog, so we value posts that provide the reader with information about how they can improve their career, or resources to do so.

Before you make contact with us, read this:

  • It is entirely up to the editor to select articles for publication. We are happy to review your pitches first in case you want to test out an idea. Otherwise your article must be finished when submitting.
  • The article you submit must be your original work and not published elsewhere. (Please credit all sources, assets and use common sense.)
  • Your article may be edited prior to publishing.

If your article is accepted:

  • You grant a license to the American Biographical Institute to be the exclusive publisher of the article online. You may republish extracts online – for example on your own site – however the article in its entirety should not appear elsewhere. You may also republish the article offline in any way you wish – e.g. sell it to a magazine, submit it to a book.
  • You consent to the full article, extracts, samples or examples from it appearing in other ABI sites, products and services.

Sound good? You may submit your article or article pitches to posts@womenthatnetwork.com
