Women That Network was founded in 2008 by the governing officers of the International Women’s Review Board (IWRB). Its mission is to provide a platform for women’s networking, learning, mentorship and recognition, for the purposes of career enrichment and personal fulfillment.

The International Women’s Review Board is a very select group of distinguished women from around the world who are committed to recognizing women’s accomplishments.  Through their extensive professional and personal contacts, IWRB members interact with each other and their communities to locate women who are considered accomplished in many respects. With the creation of Women That Network, the IWRB saw an opportunity to create not only a networking vehicle for its own members, but also a broader, world-community based resource that women from various backgrounds could utilize.

This is achieved, first, via resources at the disposal of the American Biographical Institute (ABI) (est. 1967), the IWRB’s corporate sponsor.  While the IWRB seeks to locate women deserving of recognition, the ABI serves as the vehicle to provide that recognition. The American Biographical Institute is an international publisher of more than 250 biographical reference volumes on contemporary achievement. Its goal is to publish high quality resources that lead businesses, universities, corporations, and other organizations to discover the detailed accomplishments of individuals around the world who are at the top of their fields.  The Institute’s title list includes numerous volumes that document women exclusively, such as the International Who’s Who of Professional & Business Women and Great Women of the 21st Century. The ABI is also the co-host of an international assembly of successful women and men from around the world—The World Forum—that takes place in a different city around the world each year.

Through the ABI’s 40-year experience with biographical research, it is the IWRB’s hope that the ABI will provide a wealth of women who can contribute to the substantial networking pool that is Women That Network.
